"I used to be shy, hiding behind thick glasses when my boyfriend suggested LASIK. I really didn't like taking care of contact lenses so I decided to take a vision vacation in the warmth of the Caribbean. Dr. Byron Biscoe made me feel comfortable with the PRK procedure and performed perfect surgery. Now I am married and am happy as can be. Thanks to Dr. Biscoe and the friendly staff of The Laser Vision Institute of the Virgin Islands, I am more confident and I can see everything without glasses or contacts."

I have an active lifestyle and spend a fair amount of time in the water. Sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving and wave surfing are an important part of my life. Whenever I would go out I had to worry about keeping the contact lenses on my eyes. Then while surfing one day, I met Dr. Biscoe who told me that I should stop by the office to see if I was a candidate for custom laser vision correction. Dr. Biscoe examined my eyes using the latest technology and he took a lot of time teaching me about the surgery and the potential risks and benefits. The procedure was painless, took only a few minutes and it has truly changed my life. Now I am free to enjoy the ocean without the handicap of poor vision. I would recommend Dr. Biscoe to anyone who is even considering refractive surgery.
